More Amish Mafia Crime News: Notorious Gang Steals Stradivarius Violin

By Jesse Mossman

A Stradivarius violin valued at $5 million was stolen from a concert violinist in Wisconsin. Although the article, of course, doesn't mention the race or ethnic group of the two men charged with the theft, readers will certainly recognize the common Amish names of the culprits: "Salah Jones, 41, and Universal Knowledge Allah, 36."

That Strad has been recovered.

I wonder if the two thieves knew what they were stealing and the worth of the instrument? Probably not.

Any Yoder involved?

Yoder is the most common Amish surname and particular to that group.

Amish control the chrysanthemum [mum] racket. Yoder mums are the most popular. Every group has a racket.
