I was looking at that movie "Medium Cool" and they were showing these Illinois National Guard jeeps that had fitted BARBED WIRED screens on the front and sides of the vehicle clearly intended to make 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention protestors think twice in trying to stand in front of them.

As for 25mm cannon against looters, it would certainly be spectacular seeing a car full of gang bangers firing their Glocks with extended magazines (just happened in Chicago) being impacted by a bunch of DU slugs.
