The media have been calling this Head character "stepfather" all this time, making them seem like the upright family types applying for mortgages in television commercials. They must have known this all along but chose to mislead the public. This constant lying of the media just never stops. Notice how they always make black relationships into something they aren't, such as implying people are married or are engaged to do so when that's not even close.
Please doublecheck whether or not McSpadden and Head are married -- I have seen info that they are. For example, this comment at Sailer's site.
