Bernard Verlhac, or Tignous, a 57-year-old member of the group Cartoonists for Peace

Bernard Maris, known as Uncle Bernard, a 68-year-old economist and columnist for the magazine

Phillipe Honore, or Honore, a 73-year-old cartoonist whose last cartoon was tweeted out by the magazine just minutes before the attack
