By the way, I’m still a registered Democract, as I have been my entire voting life, though in my case, it’s for religious reasons. I was raised an Orthodox Democrat. Besides, if I changed my registration, where would I go? The Republican Party is as contemptuous of me as the Dems are, and registering as an independent would close me out of the primaries which are often the real elections.
