6 Dead, 150 Hurt in Amtrak Train Derailment in Philadelphia; Train 188 Carried 238 passengers and 5 Crewmen from Washington to New York, on the Northeast Corridor, the Nation’s Busiest Railroad Stretch

Jeremy Wladis was in the very last car, eating.

"The next thing you know, the train starts doing funny things, and it gradually starts getting worse and worse," he said.

Then, things started flying -- phones, laptops. "Then people."

"There were two people in the luggage rack above my head. Two women, catapulted (there)."

Amtrak: The official train service of Haiti

On CNN a few minutes ago, news reader Carol Costello was claiming that the speed limit for train curves is 60 mph, but that can’t be. The curve is sharp, and that’s way much speed. I guess it’ll be known henceforth as “Dead Man’s Curve.”

In the linked story, there’s a ridiculous paragraph, in which White House liar Josh Earnest asserts of “Obama,” “The President has been a longtime advocate for investing in our infrastructure and making sure that we have the kind of 21st century infrastructure we know is going be critical to the success of our country.”

The Boss heard that an indeterminate number of victims are missing, but the story below fails to mention them.

Obama got $787,000,000,000 out of Congress as soon as he was sworn in, for “shovel-ready infrastructure jobs” he promised, knowing he wasn’t going to spend one penny on them. Where did that money go? Where has Obama’s $6,000,000,000,000—that’s trillions, folks—in deficit spending gone?

At CNN/KPRC.
