Racist, Rogue, Criminal General Loretta Lynch to Police Nationwide: Stop Enforcing the Law Against Black Criminals, or I Will Crush You!

AG Loretta Lynch wants to let nation break law without consequences

New York Post

As New York moves to decriminalize low-level offenses, arguing enforcement is “rigged against communities of color,” other large cities are coming under pressure from the Justice Department to do the same thing.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has issued a warning to municipal and state judges across the country that their courts could lose federal funding if they don’t ease up on fines and arrest warrants for minor crimes involving poor offenders, indigent minorities in particular.

In lieu of fines and jail time, Lynch urges the nation’s 6,500 municipal courts to provide an avenue for offenders to perform “community service” or take advantage of “amnesty days,” whereby outstanding arrest warrants are cleared for nominal fees.

Failure to comply with these policies could trigger a Ferguson-style discrimination investigation. Already, Lynch says she’s “evaluating discrimination complaints against several court systems.”

A strongly worded “guidance” letter, written by her civil rights team, warns that a local court policy of enforcing warrants for failure to pay court fines and fees can have an adverse “disparate impact” on African-Americans, who are fined and/or arrested for outstanding warrants at “disproportionate” rates versus whites.

Federal data also show that blacks tend to break both felony and misdemeanor laws at a disproportionate rate. Even if applied evenly across all races and in neutral, color-blind fashion, such policies could be found by Justice to be discriminatory.

“In court systems receiving federal funds, these practices may also violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, when they unnecessarily impose disparate harm on the basis of race,” the nine-page letters states.

It’s a slippery slope to clemency for criminals, large and small.

This is the same dubious legal threat the administration is using to force the nation’s public schools to back off suspending unruly — even violent — black students, and to force cops to avoid stopping, frisking and arresting minority offenders.

The Supreme Court has ruled that disparate impact doesn’t violate Title VI, only “intentional” discrimination does. “The administration is quite wrong to say that Title VI incorporates a ‘disparate impact’ standard,” Roger Clegg of the Center for Equal Opportunity points out. “The Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that it does not.”

This new court “reform” will only exacerbate the crime problem. Studies show ignoring low-level crimes like warrant violations only leads to bigger crimes.

Under Mayor Bill de Blasio, the NYPD has scaled back its aggressive enforcement of low-level offenses only to see both minor and serious crime rebound. Already cops have backed off public urination and other public nuisance violations, while overlooking outstanding warrants for many other misdemeanor crimes.

Even a senior Justice Department official predicts the decriminalization-cum-deincarceration movement will backfire in higher crime nationwide. “In five years the crime rate is going to be crazy again,” he said.

[Forget “five years”; it’s long been crazy again. App. 25 years of fakestats have made it only seem as if crime were down.]

The official, who oversees probation of felons paroled from federal prisons and who requested anonymity, worries the new department policy will be abused.

“I don’t see liberal judges even attempting to make people pay or spending the time making an accurate determination of a person being ‘indigent,’ ” he said. “It’s another way of not holding people accountable for their actions.”

The Justice guidance defines “indigent” as anybody who might be “eligible for public benefits,” but not actually receiving them. “Jurisdictions may benefit from creating statutory presumptions of indigency for certain classes of defendants,” the source said.

[English translation: Assume that all blacks and Hispanics are “indigent.”]

The administration claims cops and courts conspire to exploit poor blacks to generate city revenue in some kind of shakedown. But data show blacks fail to pay their fines at far greater rates than whites, so why not target whites if cash extortion is the objective?

Many of the cities with the highest fines, such as Philadelphia, are run by Democrats; and the Justice Department is no piker when it comes to levying fines.

“US attorneys always want fines and restitution amounts in the millions from people who have little chance of ever paying it back,” the department official said.

Liberals are actually to blame for the trend they’re trying to reform. Court fines and fees help pay for all the new costs liberals have added to the system, such as drug counseling and home electronic monitoring. They’ve also pushed judges to assess more fines in lieu of incarceration, especially for drug offenders.

Yet now they claim the whole court fine and bail system is racist.

Former federal civil rights attorney Hans Bader, now with the Competitive Enterprise Institute, describes the latest reforms as a “massive assault on the criminal justice system.”

It’s a slippery slope to clemency for criminals, large and small.

Access Journalism and Content Branding: How the MSM Function Today

Excerpted by Nicholas Stix

“The press used to subsist on leaks; it now thrives on plants. The politician is not a liar or a demagogue but a product. It was therefore revealed a month ago that the hacks Marc Ambinder and Mike Allen of respectively the boring Atlantic and vapid Politico sold their souls to Hillary Clinton’s staff in order to get access: first reads were promised, quote approval, word veto, talking point insertion, narrative change and forced rewrite. Time Warner, Conde Nast and Hearst don’t hire editors in chief anymore but editors able to understand the value of the marketing division to the newsroom and how they should be merged, which is code for content branding….”

Fox News’ and Obama’s Upside-Down Worlds

By Grand Rapids Anonymous

I’ve watched every day the various stories about Trump and, frankly, it’s at hysteria levels. Megyn Kelly had a segment Wednesday night that showed 17 women reporters signed a petition pushing Trump to fire campaign manager Corey Lewandowsky for his “battery” (touching) of Ms. Fields.

Fox has really turned the heat up, and they are the least liberal of the networks. Kelly also had two blacks arguing about whether Trump is a racist or not. I can’t listen to two blacks argue about ANYTHING! Please stop the Jerry Springer crap.

Trump is not a racist, but the blacks calling him one are racist to a tee. They’re as racist as the NAACP leader yesterday, screaming about white cops getting off the hook. They’re as racist as Obama letting black drug dealers out of prison early. Anyone involved in lethal drugs like cocaine deserves prison time.

That blacks use and sell to other blacks should get blacks mad at those individuals who ARE BLACK! Obama is not doing anyone a favor by pushing for leniency. Hard drugs deserve hard time.

A woman doing simple cocaine or heroin is NOT being a fit mother. Yet Obama and Holder/Lynch will not see that fact. They’ll ignore the repercussions of simple drug use. A passed out parent cannot take care of her kids, and may contribute to their accidental deaths. Or the fact that they’re hanging around drug dealers is not safe for the kids in the household. What other poor lifestyle choices are made by these people who “simply” use drugs?

The drumbeat is getting louder every day against Trump. The media have joined forces with the GOP establishment. It shouldn’t be too long before Trump is pushed out to the sideline.

CNN’s Hoax Machine Turns a Sucker-Punch Attacker/Disrupter at a Trump Rally in Janesville, WI into a Crime Victim

Re-posted by Nicholas Stix

Take a good look at the video below, and then read the CNN “report” on the incident.

It looks like CNN and the4 rest of the MSM are going to manufacture at least one anti-Trump hoax per day now.

Remember the good, old days when the election year “surprises” were relegated to October?

Police: Teen was pepper sprayed, assaulted at Donald Trump rally in Wisconsin

Washington (CNN)A 15-year-old girl was pepper sprayed and said she was groped Tuesday during a protest outside Donald Trump's rally in Janesville, Wisconsin, according to local police, one of several incidents at the event that required law enforcement.

[As the video above shows, the disruptor, who identified herself as “Alex Drake,” was the attacker. She accused a man old enough to be her grandfather with having touched her breasts. The video shows her screaming that he is touching her, but he is not touching her, and then she sucker-punches him. A third party immediately maces Drake, in defense of her victim.

I’d also like to see some proof that Drake is 15. In any event, I’m convinced that she went to the rally planning to pull her stunt, am very glad that she got maced, and hope the cops never catch the Good Samaritan who came to her victim’s aid, since they clearly seek to charge him with a crime, based not on the facts of the incident, but based on his being a normal, white male Trump supporter, and on Alex Drake’s being a female, racial socialist rioter.]

The teenager said she was groped by a male in the crowd, then was pepper-sprayed by another individual after she pushed him away, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department. A 19-year-old woman was also hit by second-hand pepper spray, police said.

[“After she pushed him away…”? So now sucker-punching an old man is “pushing away” a groper?]

Authorities are looking for one person in connection with the alleged sexual assault and another in connection with the pepper spray.
Police released an image Wednesday of one individual in connection to the alleged incident, but they did not specify which alleged crime the person was possibly connected to.

Police also said that of the 1,000 attendees inside the event and 1,000 people outside, both supporting and protesting Trump, two people carried concealed weapons and two carried weapons openly, and all four cooperated with law enforcement.

Three suspicious objects were investigated, including a vehicle left in the street by someone who had gone to get food, but all were cleared.

The Trump campaign did not respond to a request for comment on the incident in Janesville, though Trump has said in the past that he does not condone violence at his events.

Trump has been criticized by his opponents and members of his party for not doing enough to calm the violence at his events, and for having used violent imagery in the past.

[Since the violence is incited and carried out by racial socialist Bernie Sanders supporters, how could Trump possibly “calm” it?]

Trump's rallies have attracted huge crowds as well as protests across the country, and some of the events have gotten violent. [No, Bernie’s Brownshirts have committed violence at some of his rallies, and have also incited violence when they sought to shut down Trump’s rallies, acts that CNN clearly supports.] Protesters were treated violently by a crowd in Alabama, a protester being escorted out by police was sucker-punched by a Trump supporter in North Carolina, a Chicago rally was canceled because of concern about [anti-Trump riots by Bernie’s Brownshirts and paid Soros thugs] protests and the dispersing crowds clashed violently, and [racist, anti-Trump Sanders and Soros thugs] protesters in Arizona shut down a road leading to a Trump event.

While his campaign plays a recording before events asking attendees to let security handle protests, he has also made statements saying the actions of his supporters have been justified and has offered to pay legal fees of people involved.

Baltimore County, RIP: Read the Sensational New Investigative Report on Barack Obama’s Plan to Lay Waste to Baltimore County, Maryland!

Published by Nicholas Stix

A longtime reader, agitatorX, just honored me by sending the following bombshell report.

City Data: Blacks-Only Zones

Baltimore Target Zones

HUD Tables

By agitatorX

Without much fanfare, Baltimore County recently entered into a “voluntary” compliance agreement with HUD to settle three claims of alleged violations of the Fair Housing Act, the Civil Rights Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The implications of this agreement are far-reaching and potentially disastrous for property owners in more affluent and prosperous suburban communities north of Baltimore City proper.

Due largely to the unwillingness of politicians to control black crime, white people effectively abandoned Baltimore by moving to safer suburbs north of the city. The nation-wrecking socialists of the current regime are about to begin carpet-bombing those suburbs with Section 8 bioweapons containing Shaniqua.

As reported in the Baltimore Sun,

“The complainants alleged that the county had maintained policies that kept low-income and minority residents out of the best neighborhoods by spending most of its federal housing money on housing for the elderly occupied primarily by whites, demolishing and failing to replace 4,100 subsidized housing units for families since 1995, and locating Section 8 voucher holders in poor and segregated neighborhoods.”

The translation is that since the bottom end of blacks that lay waste to any civilization they encounter destroyed 4100 Section 8 housing units within the city, and the city didn’t replace them, they’re entitled to new Section 8 units in nicer areas that they aren’t already in the process of destroying.

The agreement specifies that Baltimore County is to spend $30 million over the next decade bribing developers to build what they define as 1000 “hard units” for poor black people.

The duplicitous nature of the socialists in government and the media almost requires a foreign language dictionary, to wit:

“The county also pledged to help 2,000 families on Section 8 rent subsidies to move from poor, predominantly African-American communities to better-integrated neighborhoods with stronger schools, lower crime and minimal clusters of subsidized homes”.

That paragraph should be re-written to read:

“The county also pledged to infest high-value, low-crime, owner-occupied, safe neighborhoods created by white refugees from the chaos, dysfunction, mayhem and murder of black Baltimore City, with 2000 ghetto hoodrats who are guaranteed to degrade good schools, increase crime, and ruin what little rental stock there is.”

It is virtually guaranteed that the overwhelming majority of those 1000 units and 2000 Section 8 vouchers will be handed out to unmarried women with bastard children, and it’s a pretty safe bet that a good chunk of them are going to be Shaniquas with their five, feral, Future Felons of America®.

At least 500 of the 1,000 “Hard Units” must contain three or more bedrooms and none of them will be zero bedroom, efficiency, or single room occupancy (SRO). Nice racket, eh? You work your tail off to afford a three-bedroom apartment in a safe, affluent neighborhood, and the racketeers from HUD and Baltimore County will be passing them out like candy to Shaniqua. And she won’t be leaving any time soon. All of those units are required to be kept as subsidized housing for a minimum of 15 years.

Only a fool would believe that Shaniqua is going to live alone with her FFAs in those units. On the contrary, 60 seconds after Shaniqua moves in, the unit will become a “crib” for her dildo-du-jour named Letalvis to crash during the day after a long night of crack dealing, carjacking, and home invasions. In fact, what Baltimore County is doing is offering franchise territories and branch offices for all of the criminal enterprises that currently thrive in the city.

The agreement requires that the county contract with developers to provide units in buildings that are 85% not subsidized, but then requires that the owner not discriminate based on the tenant’s source of income (III)(1)(m). In other words, the buildings may not be any more than 15% subsidized now, but as soon as agreed-to legislation is submitted and passed, the source of income provisions will apply to all units. Therefore, anyone wanting to rent in the future doesn’t have to have a job, so long as somebody [the government] is paying. [N.S.: The foregoing bracketed remark was by the author.] You can see that train wreck a mile away. The county establishes 15 out of 100 units as Section 8 infestations. It only takes one crack franchise to empty out 20 units. Who do you think is going to get stuffed in there to fill those now vacant units?

The Orwell-ese in the agreement reaches new heights with this provision indicating whom the programs are targeting:

“...African American families and African American families with children. The County shall ensure that the Program provides benefits and services to families in a non-discriminatory manner, and no one shall be denied participation in the Program because of race or national origin.”

No discrimination, but whites need not apply. I suppose they might mean that when the county imports a few thousand morons from some sub-Saharan hell-hole like Somalia, they’ll get equal footing with Shaniqua.

HUD is strong-arming the county into enacting legislation that the county is required to repeatedly introduce until passed (2. Source of Income Prohibitions).

The “model legislation” specified in Exhibit A contains a number exciting provisions that don’t just apply to this particular bombing raid, but would apply countywide to any property. For example, it defines “discrimination” as “DISCRIMINATION INCLUDES DISCRIMINATION BASED ON SOURCE OF INCOME”. So even if you have no job and a history of living your entire life on welfare, no one can hold that against you.

The model legislation has another provision right out of the Soviet playbook:

§ 29-2-102. PROHIBITIONS.

(c) Property values; change in nature of neighborhood. Whether the person is acting for monetary gain or not, a person may not engage in discrimination by representing that the existing or potential proximity of real property owned, used, or occupied by persons of a particular race, creed, religion, physical or mental disability, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, SOURCE OF INCOME, or marital status will or may result in:

(1) The lowering of property values;

(2) A change in the racial, religious, or ethnic character of the block, neighborhood, or area in which the property is located; or

(3) A decline in quality of the schools and institutions serving the area.

What they mean by that is that if you tell anyone, anywhere, at any time (like at a public town meeting for example), that Shaniqua and Letalvis will be opening a Crack in a Bag franchise as soon as construction is finished, and that this will a) tank the value of your house; b) turn the neighborhood into a ghetto; and c) trash the schools, you will be staring at a ruinous Federal discrimination lawsuit. First Amendment? What is that?

§29-2-104 (E)(2) is kind enough to provide that an owner is exempt from discrimination based on source of income by allowing them to refuse to consider the proceeds of criminal activity when considering whether a potential tenant can pay the rent (!). Paging Rod Serling.

This carpet-bombing program also provides for all kinds of other freebies in what they term the “Mobility Counseling Program” or MCP. In theory, to be eligible you’re supposed to be employed, or in a training program, or seeking employment (!), or willing to participate in a training program but the second paragraph immediately launches into the hardship waivers you’re eligible for. Hardships like you have numerous small children by unknown fathers and somebody else isn’t paying for daycare, or you can’t afford bus fare or a car.

The program will no doubt hire hordes of “Mobility Counselors” to help conveyor-belt Shaniquas into those nice, 3-BR apartments, and offers a number of services like:

1. Credit repair; [?]

2. Financial literacy and household banking and budgeting; [?]

3. Housekeeping and maintenance tips;

[I wonder what the ebonics translation is for “It’s a rental...”? If they didn’t mind living in a garbage strewn pigsty in Baltimore City, what makes anybody think that is going to change?]

4. Orientation to “good neighbor” relationships, rights and responsibilities;

[I guess that means how loud to crank your ghetto-blaster at 3 a.m. on weekday nights, how to sit on the stoop yelling at each other all night long while smoking weed and swilling Colt .45, which neighbor’s driveway to ditch dirty diapers on, and how to present your stolen pistol when your neighbor objects.]

15. A fund to assist participants to offset the costs of moving expenses, security deposits or application fees as further set forth in subparagraph k. Security deposit assistance may be made through a revolving loan program;

[Yep, they’re going to pay to move them.]

19. Tours of housing located in the census tracts listed in Exhibit F, Table A.

[Yeah, that’s going to do wonders for property values; Busloads of hoodrats casing the low-hanging fruit.]

It never seems to occur to anyone to ask the question, what is any one of these transferees going to do when she doesn’t own a car, and she’s moving 15 miles away from the city to an area with no mass transit? What’s next, Obama-cars to go with their Obama-phones and Obama-Internet? Unlike the ‘hood, white suburbia doesn’t have a shabby ghettomart Stop n’ Rob liquor store hawking Newports that takes EBT on every corner.

It also occurs to me that they’re planning on building 1000 new construction or rehab’d units, but the units have to be 85% non-Section 8 units so they can stuff 15% of those units with Shaniquas. If there was already enough pent-up demand for 850 non-Shaniqua tenants, wouldn’t somebody have already built them? Once they bribe developers to create 1000 units, where are they going to find 850 non-Shaniqua tenants to fill them?

Naturally, to hide the scale and location of the targeted populations, the agreement only provides an obscure chart listing Census Tracts to be bombed rather than a map so that the victims will know what is coming. I suppose it doesn’t matter, since objecting would require suing your own county AND HUD to try to stop it. In any event, I undertook the laborious effort to fill out a map showing exactly where the bioweapons will be dropped. I could have almost just said “Everywhere in Baltimore County that low-rent, low-IQ, black crime is not.”

As anyone can see from the map, HUD and Baltimore County are planning on exporting the very riotous hoodrats that they created in the city into the entire county, thus destroying a vast swath of wealth. Since in the end no one will be left to pay taxes, whoever is left can just stare at the altimeter spinning in the wrong direction, until there’s nothing left but smoking holes in the ground.

When Maryland has been piously voting for their own enslavement for the last 40+ years it’s tough to get all choked up about people who are about to lose their life’s work and savings, but this should at least serve as a warning of how the racket is likely to proceed in other areas.

It’s not over. It’s never over. After last week’s deadly airport and subway bombings in Brussels, the Belgian government remains on high alert for jihad attacks and espionage at its nuclear facilities.

One Belgian nuke plant security guard was murdered recently and his ID is missing. Two of the Brussels bombers reportedly spied on the home of a top senior scientist in the country’s nuclear program. ISIS has been implicated in an alleged insider plot to obtain radioisotopes from one of Belgium’s nuclear plants for a dirty bomb. Two former Belgian nuke plant workers left their jobs to fight for ISIS in Syria.

This is all according to plan. The al-Qaida house organ, Inspire magazine, has urged its followers to conduct attacks using “specialized expertise and those who work in sensitive locations that would offer them unique opportunities” to wreak havoc.

Could Islamic terrorists and other criminal menaces now exploit homeland security vulnerabilities at our own nuclear power plants and other utilities here in the U.S.?

Answer: They already have….

“Part I: BVDgate: All the Ex-President's Men: What was in Sandy Berger's Underwear?”; and

Part II: “The Dick Clarke Show.”

Part III: Timing is Everything

While the media have uncritically repeated charges and insinuations by Democrats, including Bill Clinton, that the publication of the Berger story was politically motivated, in order to upstage the release of the 911 Commission report, the media have refused to put the Berger story in the context of the political stage-managing of the 911 Commission itself, particularly in late March, as a preening Dick Clarke gave his disingenuous apology to relatives of 911 victims, and one Democrat commission member even held up Clarke's book for the TV cameras, a book whose publisher, The Free Press, had scheduled its release to coincide with Clarke's testimony. Live by media manipulation, die by media manipulation.

And yet, Democrats' charges and insinuations – most notably those of David Gergen and Bill Clinton Himself, reflect on themselves more than on their targets. A man is caught jeopardizing national security, and they suggest that the publication of the case is the problem, not the crimes? This is what happens when people live in a bubble, protected by journalistic camp followers. They not only have contempt for the law and the truth, but are so shameless that they don't even feel an obligation to appear to care about them.

According to the previously cited, July 21 NBC/AP report, House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) said, "What information could be so embarrassing that a man with decades of experience in handling classified documents would risk being caught pilfering our nation's most sensitive secrets? Mr. Berger has a lot of explaining to do."

"House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, told reporters the case was about theft and questioned a statement by Berger issued Monday attributing the removal of the documents and notes to sloppiness.

"‘I think it's gravely, gravely serious what he did, if he did it. It could be a national security crisis,' DeLay said."

In case you were wondering whether stealing government secrets is (there goes that nasty verb "to be," again) still a crime, Deputy Attorney General James Comey reminded the media that it is. As Fox News reported, "‘As a general matter, we take issues of classified information very seriously,' Comey said in response to a reporter's question about the Berger bind, adding that the department has prosecuted and sought administrative sanctions against people for mishandling classified information.

"‘It's our lifeblood, those secrets,' Comey continued. ‘It's against the law for anyone to intentionally mishandle classified documents either by taking it to give to somebody else or by mishandling it in a way that is outside the government regulations.'"

Rest easy, Mr. Comey. Bill Clinton has assured the nation that Sandy Berger is a "good man." And I thought "honor among thieves" was a myth! I don't have the space today to analyze at length the significance of being called a "good man" by Bill Clinton, but one meaning of the phrase was provided by Mae West: "Goodness had nothing to do with it."

The Moralist

My favorite sideshow to the Berger Affair has been the reaction of former Clinton staffer and Berger colleague, David Gergen, an allegedly non-partisan commentator at ABC News. According to Fox News, Gergen responded to the news of Berger's theft and destruction of classified documents, "I think it's more innocent than it looks."

"‘I have known Sandy Berger for a long time,' Gergen said in a television interview. ‘He would never do anything to compromise the security of the United States.' Gergen said he thought that ‘it is suspicious' that word of the investigation of Berger would emerge just as the Sept. 11 commission is about to release its report, since ‘this investigation started months ago.'"

So, for the feds to notify the media about the former national security advisor committing crimes and harming national security is "suspicious," but the crimes themselves – committed on five different occasions – are "more innocent" than they look.

I suppose that the only thing that would have satisfied Gergen's high ethical standards, would have been if the government had held off alerting the media about Berger's crimes until Judgment Day. I know that if I had stuffed secret, federal documents in my shorts, I'd now be sharing a jail cell with my new husband, "Monster," praying that my lawyer can get the government to offer a plea bargain of, say, five years hard time in the federal maximum security lock-up in Marion, IL. As far as leading Democrats are concerned, the laws are for "the little people."

Meanwhile, David Gergen the moralist has seen nothing "suspicious" in any of the monthly "October Surprises" churned out by the media-political complex' political hoax machine.

And Berger's liar, er, lawyer (same difference), Lanny Breuer, insists that, "Mr. Berger does not want any issue surrounding the 9/11 commission to be used for partisan purposes." What a comedian that Breuer is!

To put BVDgate in moral perspective, consider the 1993 White House Travelgate affair, which occurred on moralist David Gergen's watch.

When the Clintons took over the White House, they decided they wanted to put their cronies in charge of the White House Travel Office. Billy Dale had run the office for thirty-two years, under seven different presidents (starting with John F. Kennedy). Hillary Clinton, who held no lawful elected or appointed position, reportedly told White House officials, "We need those people out. We need our people in," and ordered Clinton chief of staff Mack McLarty and White House administrator David Watkins to fire the entire Travel Office staff. Which they proceeded to do.

Though it is not clear how they could do so legally, Clinton cronies, most notably TV producer Harry Thomason, were to take over the Travel Office, and turn it into a private cash cow. Mrs. Clinton then called the Justice Department, and sicced federal prosecutors on Billy Dale, even though she knew that Dale had not committed any crime. Seven months after firing Dale, under the incredible pretext of renewing Dale's access to the White House, White House counsel even prostituted the FBI, requisitioning and receiving Bureau background checks on Dale, in seeking to further smear him. (Dale was clean as a whistle.) Ultimately, not only did Dale lose his job, but he lost his home, his life savings, and two-and-a-half years of his life defending himself against a malicious prosecution. Engineering a malicious prosecution is a crime. So, too, is perjury. Hillary Clinton lied to the independent counsel, when she denied having had any hand in the firing of Dale & Co.

Back in the present, Gergen & Co. insist that Sandy Berger's crimes are "more innocent" than they look. Tell that to Billy Dale.

I suppose there is a certain historical symmetry in the henchman of a president who used to donate his used underwear to charity as a tax write-off getting caught stuffing national secrets down his. I hope that Sandy Berger was wearing fresh drawers and socks during his federal shoplifting jaunts. I wouldn't want archivists or legitimate government researchers picking up any organisms off the documents he returned.

Postscript: Sandy Berger died on December 2, 2015.

The Dick Clarke Show

The MAAR, which was written on Sandy Berger's orders by then-counter terrorism czar Richard Clarke, reportedly detailed holes in America's anti-terror preparations, and suggested reforms to plug the holes. In Clarke's new book, Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror, which he wrote in order to help the Democrats regain the White House, financially exploit his years of public service, make him and his cronies look good, and protect Bill Clinton's place in history, Clarke inaccurately depicted the Port Angeles Millennium Plot action, fabricated out of whole cloth a Clinton Administration role in foiling the plot, and dishonestly denigrated the Bush Administration's anti-terror preparations.

Clarke claimed that shortly before the arrest of Ressam, customs agents and other law enforcement officers had been ordered to exercise extra scrutiny, which led directly to his capture. That is nonsense on stilts.

It was without any directives from Washington, D.C., that on December 14, 1999, Port Angeles, WA Customs Agent Diana Dean took the initiative to check out an Arab man entering the country from British Columbia, Ahmed Ressam aka Benni Antoine Noris aka Reda, who was acting "hinky." In the trunk of Ressam's car, agents found nitroglycerin. The Algerian Ressam proved to be an al Qaeda terrorist.

In Customs Officer Diana Dean's Senate testimony, she mentioned nothing about a special directive, and emphasized the routine nature of the work she and her colleagues did, in questioning, searching, and arresting Ahmed Ressam.

"The fact is U.S. Customs Inspectors do things like this every hour of the day, every day of the week, every week of the year, at all 301 ports of entry in our nation. Some times we interdict dangerous drugs, sometimes guns, contaminated food, defective parts, the list goes on."

Dick Clarke also lied in his book and his 911 Commission testimony about his briefings of incoming Bush Administration officials, when he suggested he was a modern-day Cassandra, desperately seeking to get Bush advisors to take the dire threat posed by al Qaeda seriously, only to have his warnings fall on deaf ears. He has repeatedly insisted that everything was in place to fight terrorism when the Clinton Administration left office, but that the Bush people ignored all that invaluable work. In fact, it appears that Clarke sandbagged the new Administration. Did 3,000 innocent people die, so that Dick Clarke could protect his party from embarrassment, and gain partisan advantage?

In his book, Clarke was particularly vicious towards National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice and Attorney General John Ashcroft, claiming that Rice had never heard of al Qaeda before he mentioned the terror network to her in early 2001 (Rice had given a public lecture on al Qaeda prior to the 2000 election), and portraying Ashcroft as an imbecile:

"When I and one of my staff met with Ashcroft early in the Administration, we were left wondering if his discussion with us had been an act. My associate asked me on the drive back to the White House, "He can't really be that slow, can he? I mean, you can't get to be the Attorney General of the United States and be like that, right?'

"I wasn't sure. ‘I don't know,' I said. ‘Maybe he's just cagey, but after all, he did lose a Senate reelection to a dead man.'"

(In 2000, Missouri Sen. John Ashcroft ran for re-election against Democrat Gov. Mel Carnahan. Both men were immensely popular in Missouri, where Ashcroft was himself a former two-term governor, and before that a two-term attorney general, and the race was a tight one. Gov. Carnahan died in a plane crash less than three weeks before the election. Owing to the sympathy factor, with the understanding that Gov. Carnahan's widow, Jean, would serve in her husband's place, Missouri voters "elected" the dead governor.

While I can understand how it would be irresistible for Clarke to get a cheap laugh at Ashcroft's expense, his joke required that he misrepresent the actual situation, something he did with regularity in his book. As far as I can see, Jean Carnahan's election was illegal. Her name was not on the ballot, her husband's was. Missouri law stipulates that only those living in Missouri may legally run for election. Mrs. Carnahan could only have run legally, had she put her own name on the official ballot, and the deadline for doing that had passed. Hence, all votes for Mel Carnahan were invalid, and Sen. Ashcroft should have won re-election in a landslide. Ashcroft surely knew this, but in a show of chivalry that was wasted on the widow Carnahan -- not to mention on Dick Clarke -- chose not to contest the election. Democrat Acting Gov. Roger Wilson appointed Mrs. Carnahan senator, but again, according to Missouri election law, Wilson had no authority to do so. In 2002, Jean Carnahan lost her only election campaign to Republican Jim Talent. In December, 2000, president-elect George W. Bush nominated John Ashcroft Attorney General of the United States.)

As General Ashcroft testified before the 911 Commission in April, when the Bush Administration took over in January 2001, Dick Clarke withheld the MAAR, until after 9/11. If that charge is true, Clarke may be liable for federal prosecution.

You may ask why I believe Ashcroft over Clarke. While I called, in September 2002, for John Ashcroft's dismissal based on his persecution of scientist Dr. Steven Hatfill in the anthrax case, I have never had reason to consider him a liar. Conversely, I have caught Dick Clarke telling so many falsehoods, that I would not trust him to give me the correct time of day.

According to a July 21 MSNBC report combining material from NBC's David Gregory and Pete Williams and the Associated Press, "In his April 13 testimony to the Sept. 11 commission, Attorney General John Ashcroft said the [MAAR] ‘warns the prior administration of a substantial al-Qaida network' in the United States. Ashcroft said it also recommends such things as using tougher visa and border controls and prosecutions of immigration violations and minor criminal charges to disrupt terror cells.

"‘These are the same aggressive, often-criticized [by Democrats and their establishment media comrades – N.S.] law enforcement tactics that we have unleashed for 31 months to stop another al-Qaida attack,' Ashcroft told the panel. He added that he never saw the documents before the Sept. 11 attacks."

It was also Ashcroft alone who had the cojones to point out, in his commission testimony, the role in weakening America's defenses of 911 commissioner Jamie Gorelick, who as Clinton Administration deputy attorney general, erected the "wall" that kept the FBI and CIA from sharing intelligence (yet another matter that Dick Clarke failed to mention in his book). So, I guess Ashcroft wasn't so slow, after all.

(Many Midwesterners have a tendency to speak at a much slower tempo than folks from places like New York, California, or Washington D.C., a style that many "sophisticats" consider a sign of being intellectually challenged.)

As a July 21 Wall Street Journa editorial observed, "Ahmed Ressam was one of the would-be Millennium bombers whom the French had identified to U.S. intelligence agencies as an al Qaeda operative planning to attack America. But the ‘wall of separation' meant that when an alert U.S. customs officer stopped Ressam as he tried to enter the country from Vancouver, the Justice Department had no idea who he was. This helps illuminate the claim made in the missing [MAAR], according to Mr. Ashcroft's testimony, that our success in stopping these 1999 attacks was a result of sheer ‘luck.'"

Dick Clarke's unprofessional behavior, in not providing the MAAR to the incoming administration, i.e., in obstructing the Bush Administration's anti-terror precautions, is just one of countless matters that Clarke forgot to mention in his book. The MAAR was essential to formulating the new Administration's anti-terrorism strategy. Consider Clarke's heroic, West Wing-style depiction of is own behavior in the Bush Administration prior to and on 911, and his concealment of the MAAR. Consider, too, his classified 2002 Senate testimony, which caused no reaction, versus his sensational, book-selling public testimony in 2004, though Democrat politicians have denied that the testimonies contradicted each other. As the Sandy Berger Saga unfolds, someone may have to write a book about Clarke's book, just to set the story straight.

On the July 21 ABC News Nightline, where Clarke appeared as a paid ABC consultant, he embellished on his previous embellishments.

Host Chris Bury: "Under Pres. Bush, the [911] Commission report, at least what we know about it so far, seems to be hardest on this issue of not connecting the dots, particularly with the FBI, some of its agents knowing, possibly warning about a plot, that hijackers might be in the country training, not connecting the dots with Zacarias Moussaoui, who had already been detained.

"If you're going to name one thing under Pres. Bush that stands out in terms of sloppiness, is that it?"

Dick Clarke: "No, I think the one mistake that was made in the Bush Administration was actually made by the President, and that was when he was told repeatedly by the CIA over the course of June, July, and August that a major attack by al Qaeda was coming, that he didn't personally get involved, in trying to make his government work better, to stop it. Contrast that with the way Pres. Clinton did get involved, to try to stop a similar attack around the Millennium period, and by getting the cabinet members involved, Clinton was able to get the government to work better, and did prevent a series of attacks around that period."

The preceding passage from Clarke was an exercise in fiction. No person or agency, including the CIA and Dick Clarke provided Pres. Bush with any concrete information regarding where, when, or how an al Qaeda attack would be carried out. Indeed, in his book, Clarke mocks the idea of such vague warnings.

As for Pres. Clinton, there is no evidence that any actions he took helped prevent any Millennium terrorist attacks. All credit goes properly to people like Customs Agent Diana Dean and FBI Agent Fred Humphries. It was only after Agent Dean and her colleagues had caught Ahmed Ressam and his explosives, and after Agent Humphries had made him for an Algerian, and thus figured out that Ressam was not who he claimed to be, and with his colleagues cracked the case, that Pres. Clinton swung into action. Bill Clinton was a day late and a dollar short.

Clarke's July 21 Nightline claim that Pres. Clinton prevented a "series of attacks around that [Millennium] period" is contradicted by his own book. In Against All Enemies, Clarke shows that it was Jordanian intelligence that prevented the first of three simultaneous Millennium attacks, without any American aid, and who alerted us to the Millennium Plot, not the other way around. (Clarke writes in such an odd way, however, that he somehow transfers the credit from the Jordanians to his CIA crony, Cofer Black.) And the third and final simultaneous Millennium attack Clarke cites in his book, planned for the port of Aden, Yemen, failed not because of American derring-do, much less due to Bill Clinton's personal involvement, but due to al Qaeda's incompetence: "As they pushed the boat down the landing and into the water, however, it moved off a little into the harbor, and sank. The explosives weighed too much."

According to Attorney General Ashcroft, Clarke's July 21 claims about Pres. Clinton helping prevent the Millennium Plot are also contradicted by his own MAAR, which may have something to do with why so many drafts and copies of the document found their way into Sandy Berger's portfolio.

It is Dick Clarke's m.o. to give all credit, deserved or not, to his Democrat cronies and particularly to his Democrat president, and to allocate all blame to Republicans, particularly to the present Republican president.

BVDgate: All the Ex-President's Men

By Nicholas Stix

A Different Drummer, Enter Stage Right, Intellectual Conservative, etc.

Part I: What was in Sandy Berger's Underwear?

Republicans are filled with glee, as Democrats fall all over themselves, trying to diminish the fact that Bill Clinton's former national security adviser, Sandy Berger, was caught stuffing classified documents and national secrets down his drawers, in his jacket, in his socks, and in a leather portfolio, in order to steal them from the National Archives, and to later destroy some of them. (Berger returned some documents, but only after he was caught, but had "accidentally" destroyed the most important ones.) Note that Berger reportedly burgled the Archives on five separate occasions. Watergate, meet BVDgate.

For the past thirty years, many observers have thought it the height of paranoia for Pres. Richard Nixon's men to burglarize the offices of the Democratic National Committee in the Watergate Hotel in June 1972, given that Nixon clearly was going to win re-election in a landslide in 1972 against left-liberal Democrat Sen. George McGovern. If the Watergate break-in and Nixon's attempted cover-up of it, which led to his forced resignation in August 1974 were the height of paranoia, we need a new vocabulary to describe the burglarizing of the National Archives after Bill Clinton had won re-election, completed two terms of office, and left the White House. In the spirit of Bill and Hillary Clinton's teacher, Karl Marx, who said that all great world-historical incidents and individuals occur twice, "the first time as tragedy, the second as farce," one can't help asking, "What did the ex-President know, and when did he know it?"

Sandy Burglar, er, Berger used weasel words like "inadvertent" and "accidentally discarded" to wish away criminal acts that jeopardized national security, and which were likely done to protect the Clinton Administration from facing the tribunal of history, and to save John Kerry's presidential campaign (which Berger served as an advisor, until the BVDgate revelations became public, and he resigned). Berger would have disgraced himself and his comrades less, had he simply refused comment.

In order to diminish the significance of such shoplifter behavior with a straight face, you have to either be on powerful sedatives, bite your tongue clear through, or be the sort of sociopath that could fool a polygraph expert.

Rich Shoplifters are Not Like You or Me

And I know shoplifters. While teaching college during the late 1990s, I used to moonlight as a security guard at what was then the word's biggest toy store, the Toys'R'Us at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue in Manhattan (as well as other local Toys'R'Us stores). But none of the mopes I caught ever claimed that his theft was "inadvertent," and none of them had a former president defending them, by saying that they were so disorganized, that they did that sort of thing all the time.

An explanation of my usage is in order. Journalists are supposed to say that a suspect "allegedly" committed a crime, or that "police said" that he committed a crime. That requirement does not apply, however, to cases where a suspect has admitted to the crime. Since the law usually requires criminal intent, Sandy Berger has sought to confuse matters, by saying that he only "inadvertently" stole and in certain cases "accidentally discarded" the documents in question, but all the Clintonesque dishonesty in the world cannot twist language so completely, that one can "inadvertently" stick government secrets in one's drawers and socks, or due to "sloppiness" "accidentally discard" highly classified, secret reports. Especially when one is a former national security advisor, who formulated protocols for securing national secrets.

The most significant pieces of Berger's booty were anywhere from two to five drafts and one copy of the final report -- the "Millennium After-Action Review" (hereafter: "MAAR") -- on al Qaeda's failed Millennium Plot to simultaneously blow up LAX Airport and other targets on New Year's Eve 1999, that he absconded with in a leather portfolio.

The "accidents" occurred last year, while Berger was on a mission for Bill Clinton, to select which documents to turn over to the 911 Commission. The MAAR, whose drafts -- full of hand-written notes by administration officials and family members -- which Berger destroyed, was arguably the most important such document.

I Knew Max Weber, He was a Friend of Mine, and Mr. Berger, You're No Max Weber!

Since it was against the law for Berger to remove anything from the Archives, all of his defenses and those of his cronies and former chief are irrelevant. (He thought that the drafts were "only photocopies," rather than originals; he was reading through "thousands of pages" of documents each day he spent in the Archives, and lost track; he's such a mess, that he made such mistakes all the time in the past.) And note that he was jamming documents into his socks, his jacket pocket, his BVDs, and his leather portfolio. Indeed, as an old security guard, I have to wonder what purpose the portfolio served, save as a crime tool.

There is only one scenario I can conceive of, in which Berger would have done grunt work normally unheard of for such a powerful man: He was up to no good, and did not want any witnesses. He didn't realize that he had witnesses, anyway.

In the Millennium Plot, al Qaeda sought on New Year's Eve, 1999, to simultaneously to blow up the Radisson Hotel in Amman, Jordan; LAX Airport in Los Angeles; and U.S. Navy destroyer, the USS The Sullivans, in the harbor at Aden, Yemen. In thwarting the Millennium Plot, high-level, multi-billion-dollar federal terror watchdogs proved worthless. Jordanian intelligence foiled the Amman hit, without any help from the U.S.; a U.S. customs agent and FBI agent prevented the LAX hit, without any help or directives from Washington; and the Yemen attack failed due to the incompetence of al Qaeda's operatives.

In considering Hillary Clinton’s current candidacy for the presidency, one must keep in mind not only that she is a career criminal, but a sadist who derives pleasure from inflicting pain on innocents.

The following passage comes from my 2004 report, “BVDgate: All the Ex-President's Men.”

When the Clintons took over the White House [in January, 1993], they decided they wanted to put their cronies in charge of the White House Travel Office.

(Dale was clean as a whistle.)

Ultimately, not only did Dale lose his job, but he lost his home, his life savings, and two-and-a-half years of his life defending himself against a malicious prosecution. Engineering a malicious prosecution is a crime. So, too, is perjury. Hillary Clinton lied to the independent counsel, when she denied having had any hand in the firing of Dale & Co.

Back in the present, [David] Gergen & Co. insist that Sandy Berger's crimes are "more innocent" than they look. Tell that to Billy Dale.

In November 1995, it took a federal jury only two hours to acquit Billy Dale on all charges.

The following year, the House of Representatives votes 350-43 to reimburse all seven of Hillary Clinton’s White House Travel Office victims for their legal expenses. Acting on the Clintons’ behalf, Nevada Sen. Harry Reid unsuccessfully sought to block this act of redress in the Senate.

Hillary and Her Goons: Secretary Clinton’s History of Violence and Intimidation Against Reporters

Hillary and Her Goons

A Different Drummer/Stix and Stones

Hillary Clinton likes her journalists in a prone position, and apparently, that's fine by them. That's the upshot of a story out of New York that Hillary's media minions have tried to kill. But the story just won't die.

It seems that during the New York's March 17 St. Patrick's Day Parade, Hillary Clinton's Secret Service detail assaulted six journalists who tried to ask the First Lady questions. This is a major news story; an even bigger bombshell is the refusal, by all major news outlets, to run the story.

The story initially broke the same day, on WABC-AM (770), and at newsmax.com, an Internet news service owned by [Republican] investigative reporter Chris Ruddy that specializes in publishing stories the mainstream media doesn't want told. And let me tell ya,' business is booming!

As NewsMax's Carl Limbacher and staff detailed that day, WABC's Glen Shuck reported on Sean Hannity's call-in talk show, "Secret Service agents literally are pushing press to the ground.... The Secret Service just lost their minds, in my opinion. I mean, they just started pushing and shoving; female camera people five feet tall were getting thrown to the ground, cameras flying. Myself, I was grabbed by the shoulder, I was thrown back over. I think somebody from [WB] Channel 11 landed on my back. From that point, it really didn't get any better.

"Minutes after Shuck's interview with Hannity, WABC's in-studio reporter George Weber announced, 'Hillary Clinton's Secret Service agents today roughed up several members of the news media trying to cover the St. Patrick's Day Parade. At least six reporters, including WABC's Glen Shuck, were pushed and tossed to the ground as they tried to get quotes from Mrs. Clinton.

With one exception, the media response to the March 17 WABC and NewsMax stories was ... silence. Nada. Nichts. Nothing. And the exception was a case of an influential columnist who ridiculed the story, while refusing to tell its news source.

Consider that when Mrs. Clinton was waffling about announcing her candidacy late last year, New York reporters and editorialists claimed that she would have a tough time of it with New York's give-no-quarter press corps. Puppy dogs is more like it. A rabid media pack that has gone into attack mode on every unsubstantiated claim or oh-so-biased charge made against Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, especially the Big Lie asserting that the NYPD "profiles" black men, has spent its time sleeping on Hillary Clinton's lap, when it hasn't been licking her hand.

The title of NewsMax's follow-up story, on March 19 (a third story ran on March 21), said it all: "Media Silent on St. Pat's Day Assault by Hillary's Goons." "It was the ugliest public incident in the entire, seven-plus year history of the Clinton administration; certainly ugly enough to fatally wound any candidate's bid for higher office.

"But 48 hours after United States Senate candidate Hillary Clinton's security entourage attacked at least six reporters during New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade -- throwing some out of the way, pushing others to the ground -- not a single mainstream media outlet has reported the assaults....

The report continued, that Glen Shuck was the only one of the six assaulted journalists to go public. "Newsmax.com has been unable to learn the identity of the female camera operator attacked by Clinton's goons -- nor the whereabouts of whatever film she shot.

"Though local WABC newsman George Weber covered the Secret Service violence at every newsbreak -- at one point even contrasting their use of force with Mrs. Clinton's own stands against police brutality -- none of Shuck's account made it to his own network's 6:00 p.m. report. ABC News failed to mention the assault of their own reporter -- even on their own website.

Mrs. Clinton's Secret Service detail has a history, going at least as far back as 1996, of intimidating reporters covering the First Lady.

When I asked WNBC-TV News Director Paula Madison about the Secret Service assaults, she told me, "I don't think I know about that." Madison thought again, and reiterated, "I have no knowledge of it." Repeated calls to WABC-Radio News Director Phil Boyce, however, went unanswered, despite the assurance of a station employee that she had given Boyce my messages. Remember, Glen Shuck was one of Boyce's people. Likewise, Karen Scott, the news director at Channel 11, one of whose journalists had also reportedly been assaulted, had not responded to repeated calls, as ADD went to web. At NY1's news scoops number, no one was answering the telephone all afternoon, and no one from NY1 responded to ADD's email inquiries. Mayor Giuliani's press representative, Julianna Glover-Weiss, first told me, "I have not heard anything about that, but let me look into that." Later, she told ADD, "I've got the research people looking into it.”

I only stumbled onto the story, in the first place. Newsday columnist and editorial board member Marie Cocco had done a hit on the American Enterprise Institute/frontpagemag-sponsored conference, "The Legacy and Future of Hillary Rodham Clinton." While omitting the date and location of the conference, and all but one of the panelist's names, Cocco slathered on the ridicule, describing the confab as a grouphate of psychotic, Republican Hillary-bashers. Check out her first three paragraphs:

"THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS, from the belly of the beast.

"A columnist for a conservative Internet site rises to charge, with perfect sobriety, that during last month's St. Patrick's Day Parade, U.S. Secret Service agents assigned to first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton 'assaulted and manhandled' members of the press, including cameramen.

"This does not, at the American Enterprise Magazine's (sic) daylong conference on ‘The Legacy and Future of Hillary Clinton,’ elicit skepticism.”

Unlike the confabs of multiculturalists, who refuse to invite any speakers who don't toe the politically-correct party line, these days conservatives often invite their enemies to their conferences. I suppose this has something to do with being out of power -- one tends to be on one's best behavior. Conversely, those in power feel no such compunctions.

Professionalism required that Cocco mention that half of the conference speakers (and spectators) were confirmed lefties, who themselves described Hillary's critics in the same, derisive terms Cocco used: born-again Clintonite David Brock; Newsweek magazine's White House mascot, Eleanor Clift; communist/feminist Betty Friedan; New York activist Karen Burstein; and token, leftwing Clinton-critic, Christopher Hitchens. Cocco chose instead to mention only one panelist -- Hillary Clinton's conservative critic, Joyce Milton, author of The First Partner: Hillary Rodham Clinton. Professionalism also required that she name the "columnist" -- Richard Poe -- and the "conservative Internet site" -- www.newsmax.com. And professionalism required that Cocco admit that she'd hunted down Richard Poe, interviewed him at length, and assured him that she was "curious about delving into the facts" of the "Hillary's Goons" story. Marie Cocco has had bouts of professionalism in the past. But I guess she's gotten over that.

Contrast Cocco's April 13 rendering of the conference (which is available online at frontpagemag.com) with Poe's NewsMax story the previous day, "The Hillary Conspiracy":

"Who is Juanita Broaddrick? I've never heard of her!' cried Betty Friedan, the founder of modern feminism. Friedan's outburst came at last Friday's conference, entitled 'The Legacy and Future of Hillary Rodham Clinton.' Held at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., the event offered a chilling microcosm of an angry, divided America.

"For nearly an hour, a five-woman panel had been debating whether Hillary qualified as a 'feminist heroine.' I thought Broaddrick's claim of having been raped by Hillary's husband had some bearing on this point, so I broached the subject during the question-and-answer period. Friedan's dyspeptic denial followed.

"David Brock, author of The Seduction of Hillary Clinton, opined that 'Clinton-hating' was 'a realm for psychology, frankly... A lot of the venom is projection.' Eleanor Clift was even blunter. When confronted by hostile questioners, the Newsweek pundit snapped, "You all belong in a support meeting for the anti-Hillary frustrated minority!

“These cracks drew a few laughs. But the anti-Hillary panelists reminded us that more serious issues were afoot. Left-wing journalist Christopher Hitchens, author of No One Left to Lie to, warned that the Clintons were presiding over 'the transformation of the American democracy, the American republic, into a banana republic.' He pointed to the strange timidity of the press as one symptom. 'It is amazing that the New York press should congratulate itself on being so fierce and unappeasable and brave and searching when it has so far not asked [Mrs. Clinton] one single tough question.”

Amazing, indeed.

Cocco's hit achieved two ends: it made it all but impossible for civilians to find the Secret Service story, and in case it did somehow leak out, she slimed the story's messengers as a bunch of fruitcakes: ‘Yeah, right. Are you gonna believe these characters?’

Richard Poe's story on the conference is available online at newsmax.com, and archived at his own site, richardpoe.com. Poe, by the way, is a veteran journalist and New York Times-bestselling author (Black Spark, White Fire).

With a reticence that his ruthless peer lacked, Richard Poe did not wish to attack Marie Cocco when we spoke for the first time -- "She's a colleague." He did grant, during a later interview, however, that in ridiculing the journalists telling the story of Hillary Clinton's Secret Service goons, "She's trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube.”

Well, the toothpaste is out to stay.

MARTIN COUNTY — If not for Deputy Matthew Fritchie making a quick stop to pick up some sunflower seeds Wednesday evening, events at the Chevron gas station might have turned out different.

As he drove up in his patrol car, parked and entered the store, a potentially deadly encounter was in progress: An accused robber was trying to hold up clerks with a gun.

“They were in complete fear,” said Fritchie of the clerks. “Their eyes were just huge.”

Fritchie, a 17-year Martin County Sheriff’s Office veteran, spoke Thursday about the incident that ended with the arrest of Domenique Pierce, 24, of North Carolina, on an armed robbery charge.

Fritchie, 36, stopped at a Chevron on Lost River Road about 10:30 p.m. with a probation officer. They were about to start making checks to ensure probationers were following the terms of their release.

“I went to the store to get some sunflower seeds ... and walked in on a robbery,” Fritchie said.

He noticed the two clerks who appeared fearful and a man in a hoodie. It was cold, Fritchie said, and not unusual for a person to don a hoodie. He knew something wasn’t right when the man turned around and had a brown mask over his face.

“I think I startled him; he stopped,” Fritchie said. “I drew my service weapon and confronted the gentleman and asked what was going on.
He didn’t respond.”

He said the clerks told him the man tried to rob them.

Fritchie stopped the man, asking whether he had a firearm.

“He said it was fake,” Fritchie said. “I then approached him even closer and said ‘if you grab it, I will kill you.’”

Fritchie said the incident happened quickly, and he reverted to his training.

“I was presented a situation and I approached it in a tactical manner to overtake the situation, and it was done and over by the time I realized actually what occurred,” he said.

Fritchie said the gun closely resembled a Glock pistol.

Sheriff William Snyder said Fritchie’s action demonstrate how to properly handle a situation in an era that is “very trying” for law enforcement officers.

“There’s a narrative in our country today that goes something like this: trigger-happy cops shooting unarmed people,” he said.

In this case, he added, an armed deputy encountered what he believed was an armed suspect, and took him into custody without firing his firearm. Snyder said this illustrates how the vast majority of law enforcement professionals act.

“They’re trained to put their safety second,” Snyder said. “He clearly did that.”

As for the sunflower seeds, Snyder presented a bag to Fritchie on Thursday morning.

Actually, blacks laugh themselves half to death over just this sort of story, but they get mad as hell at any whites sharing in the mirth, and try to ruin their lives. I say, don’t be so greedy, my brothers and sisters! Share the joy!

Florida man steals BMW he tried to buy with EBT card, deputies say

A man who tried to buy a BMW with his EBT card stole the vehicle instead only to be arrested after the car ran out of gas, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

Nicholas Jackson, 36, went to a BMW dealership in Pompano Beach last week determined to use his credit card and EBT card to buy a $60,000 vehicle. Jackson was turned away but deputies say he came back the next night to steal the BMW and keys from 60 other vehicles at the dealership.

Deputies say he drove the car at least 70 miles from Pompano Beach to Palm City where he ran out of gas at an intersection because he didn't have money to fill the tank. Jackson was found after someone reported a suspicious person and deputies say they found him with the car and the sets of keys.

Detectives were able to trace the car back to the Pompano Beach dealership and charge Jackson with grand theft auto. His bond is set at $20,000.

This story leads into so many comments, but a certain liberal poster would just call them all racist or prejudiced.

Chattanooga’s New 12 Now reports the shooting suspect who allegedly pulled a gun at the U.S. Capitol visiting center on Monday has been identified as Larry Dawson of Antioch, Tennessee.

News 12 Now tweeted tweeted a photo of the suspect:

News 12 Now reports “Dawson had an active bench warrant for assault of a police officer and unlawful conduct on capitol grounds at the time of the shooting.”

ABC News reports that Dawson allegedly “drew what appeared to be a gun” and was subsequently shot by Capitol Police. He was transported to a local hospital for surgery without any word on his condition.

ABC News also reported that Dawson “interrupted a House session in October 2015.” According to The Daily Beast, that interruption consisted of Dawson shouting  “I’m a prophet of God” from the balcony of the House of Representatives. Thereafter, he “allegedly ran from cops and resisted arrest.”

The Washington Post reports that Dawson failed to appear in court in November, instead sending a letter to the court which said, “I have been called chosen and sent unto you this day. I am not under the law!. . .Therefore I will not comply with the court order, nor will I surrender myself to your office.”

Trump Can’t Make America Great Again, Without Exposing and Destroying the “Bush Doctrine”

Making America Great Means Exposing “W”
By Ilana Mercer

Making America great again, the theme of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, depends on dispelling the myths and myth-making that made America bad.

Beginning with George W. Bush.

Said Saint Augustine: “The confession of evil works is the first beginning of good works.”

The Republican Party under Bush did the devil’s work. Bar the sainted Ron Paul, not a dog of a Republican lifted his leg in protest of the unjust war on Iraq.

To embark on the good, the GOP must come clean about the bad. To that end, Donald Trump has begun a vital process of expiation.

The 43rd president is categorized as “bad” and ranked 37th by Ivan Eland, author of “Recarving Rushmore: Ranking the Presidents on Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty.” Having undermined the republic at home and peace abroad, “Bush’s presidency,” avers Eland, “was one of the worst of all time.”

Coming to terms with the Bush legacy, moreover, ought to prevent the rise of another Bush. For the bogus Bush Doctrine is alive and well-exploited in the words and promises of each of the Republican candidates, bar Donald Trump.

The Bush dictum of fighting them over there so they don’t come here —as if Islamic State can’t, won’t and hasn’t attacked there and here—is alive and well-exploited by almost every fork-tongued politician in the Republican and Democratic races.

Other than Trump and Bernie Sanders, there’s a potatoes vs. spuds quality to the foreign policy articulated by both sides.

Each time the interchangeable John Kasich or Marco Rubio or Jeb Bush are asked about death by Muslim in the United States; they whip out that dumb “W” Doctrine, tethering attacks like San Bernardino in the US to wars the US should be waging over in the Middle East, and will be waging if these candidates have their way….
